I wanted to report about a dog show family from where I used to live in South Carolina. Jan Dulin was someone I consulted about getting a dog from and she referred me to the person where I purchased my girl Cashmere. “Cassy”.Below is an excerpt from her local area news:A smooth-coat Chihuahua from Pickens has won best of breed at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.”It’s just overwhelming for us,” said Jan Dulin, who with her husband, Buddy, owns the 151/2-month-old Chihuahua that brought home the honor. “We’re just so ecstatic that our dog actually not only competed at Westminster but actually won breed.”Dulin described their dog, Champion Belle Shoals Louisville Slugger, as gorgeous, sweet and loving.”We knew that Louie was special from the beginning,” she said. “He has a beautiful expression in his face.”-Greenville News
After years of waiting and waiting, my sister and her family have their chihuahua! Welcome home Faith! They have been wanting dog for so long and after being great doggie daycare for mine they got a dog that is perfect! A long coated chihuahua named Faith. She is 6 month old and was hand raised from a pup, she couldn’t be friendlier. You will be seeing a lot of Faith in the years to come.
Update: After 4 days, it is turning out that Faith is the most perfect dog ever! She is a complete princess~ Manners, looks, cute and potty habits.. makes me want to turn mine in.. :0)

Heard about this one from FunnyFur.com when I was at their boutique in Houston last month. She said they supplied clothing for the movie.
The scoop: Beverly Hills Chihuahua - This live-action comedy tells of Chloe, a pampered California chihuahua dog (voiced by Drew Barrymore) who gets lost while on vacation in Mexico. She is helped by Delgado, a street-hardened German Shepherd (voiced by Andy Garcia) and Papi the amorous puppy (George Lopez) in a plot and structure that sounds derivative of Disney’s 1993 Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. Also lending their voices to this film (once titled South of the Border) are Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos, Cheech Marin, and Paul Rodriguez. Jamie Lee Curtis plays Aunt Viv and she is joined in the human cast by Piper Perabo and Nick Zano. The film is directed by Raja Gosnell, who has helmed such clunkers as Home Alone 3, Big Momma’s House and the two live-action Scooby-Doo movies. He previously worked with Barrymore on her 1999 comedy Never Been Kissed. Beverly Hills Chihuahua is slated to open on September 26, 2008, the same weekend that worked well for the studio on last year’s profitable lowbrow comedy The Game Plan.
